IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CARE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wick Trimming: Trim the wick to about 1/8 of an inch before each use¹. If the wick is not properly trimmed, it may not light, or the flame may be too high². After each burn, trim the wick to where the wood naturally breaks off².

2. Lighting: Hold the candle at an angle when lighting and contact the wick with the flame for at least 8-10 seconds². This is especially helpful if you’re having issues with the wick catching fire².

3. Burn Duration: Do not burn the candles for more than four hours at a time¹. Extinguish them after four hours, allow them to cool for two hours, and then trim the wick again before you relight them¹.

4. Storage: When not in use, WoodWick candles should be stored in a cool, dark, and dry place¹. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight as the candle coloring can fade¹.

5. Cleaning: If you notice smudges or dust on your candle jar, it can be easily cleaned with a soft cloth or piece of nylon¹.

6. Safety: Always use extreme care when burning WoodWick candles. Make sure you do not leave them burning unattended, and make sure there is nothing nearby that could ignite¹. The glass container gets hot when the wick is lit, and this can be a hazard to little hands and curious pets¹.
